The judiciary, with the Supreme Court at the head, has engaged in a dangerous and subtle effort to suppress the founding truths of the United States. The loss of these truths in our public life has harmed self-government and increasingly brought us under the tyranny of the judiciary.
The United States of America originated in religious liberty. We set before the entire world a statement of political, moral, and theological truth agreeable to the reasoned judgment of the majority. We will not keep our freedom unless we ensure that this right remains our sacred possession.
Religious ideas, when purged of all sectarian doctrine, ought to play a central role in the life of the republic. Thomas Jefferson considered the teachings of Jesus to be the greatest guide to the life of a republican citizens. Today this philosophy can be reintroducted into our nation's public life.
